Hi,

I am selling earrings $5.00 a pair to raise money for The Children’s Heart Foundation in order to help fund critical research to save children’s lives.

Here are a few facts about Congenital Heart Defects:

CHDs are the most common cause of infant death due to birth defects.

25% of babies born with a complex CHD will not see their 1st birthday.

Over 85% of babies born with a CHD now live to at least age 18. However, children born with more severe forms of CHDs are less likely to reach adulthood.

Congenital heart defects are common and can be deadly, yet CHD research is grossly under-funded relative to the prevalence of the disease.
