MLS Staff Appreciation and Recognition

Here is a calendar of scheduled MLS large events for staff, as planned by the MLS Staff Association.

All of the events are free for our employees. You can attend more than one event.  Events are limited.
 
To register for an event, we will send you an e-vite via staff email as it gets closer to each event. It should open a new window that asks for your name, branch/department, name of your guest.

• Literary Voices event tickets/giveaway

Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Premiere

• Date:  Sunday, May 7th
• Time:  1pm
• Location:  Harkins' Movie Theatre Bricktown
• Details:  Movies tickets for employee and a guest. You must RSVP with your and your guests name.
  Voucher for a small soda and popcorn will be given out at the theater. It will be a private screening of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on opening weekend. Make sure to come early for parking. **This has gone live please RSVP as soon as possible because seats are filling up fast!The deadline to RSVP is April 27th.

  Seats are first come, first served. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but for this event you are unable to purchase additional tickets.

Throwback Prom

• Date:  Saturday-June 10th
• Time:  6:30pm - 9:30pm
• Location:  Northwest Library
• Details:  Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, and a photographer will be there. The theme is Throwback Prom. We are encouraging attendees to dress in 80s/90s gear or like their favorite 80s/90s rom-com. For employee plus 1. There is an Eventbrite link that we will send out to employees to be able to register and get their tickets.

OKC Museum of Art

• Date:  Saturday-June 24th
• Time:  Times will be listed at a later date.
• Location:  OKC Museum of Art
• Details:  This is for an employee and a guest. You will have a one hour tour of the gallery and a one hour studio art time in staggered groups of thirty. There is parking on the streets or the Arts District Parking Garage (parking is $2 an hour). Exhibits of interest at that time will be The Complete WPA Collection and Kehinde Wiley: A New Republic.

Frontier City

• Date:  Sunday-July 30th
• Location:  Frontier City
• Details:  Frontier City tickets for employee and a guest. *We believe we will have available for you to purchase if you would like more for other family members to attend.  If you want to buy additional tickets, you must pay upfront to Staff Association, cash or checks only are collected by Tina Winkle at Bethany. We will post the form to buy additional tickets on the intranet and you turn that into me with your money. Bottles of water will be provided.

OKC Dodgers Game

• Date:  Friday, August 11th
• Time:  Gates open at 6:05 pm and the game starts at 7 pm.
• Location:  Frontier City
• Details:  OKC Dodgers game for employee and a guest. We have reserved Home plate seats. There will be a $5 voucher for concessions.

And that is what we have planned for now. More events are coming this Fall in the new fiscal year. We tried to pick different days/times so everyone gets at least one chance to attend. Please don't hesitate to give us feed back and suggestions on what you, the staff, want to participate in next.

Also, remember you can attend more than one event. Just remember spaces fill up fast!
