Hours Map

We will be updating the Hours and Location map to include the new hours for the Community Libraries once the Commission approves them Thursday. Besides moving the icon for Choctaw up a hair, are there any other changes needed?

Some of my staff were showing a new member the map the other day and noticed that Lake Hefner Parkway was not on the map.
The street name next to the Choctaw Library says "23th" instead of 23rd.
Since you haven't responded to my repeated requests to make the Choctaw Library icon larger and fancier than Del City's, that's the only change I can see.
I don't think Del City would much like that!
Something to help them with M&M. A yurt with goats should do it.
A yurt sounds super cool! I would go to a yurt library.
Can this be one of our pop-up libraries?
66 Hwy between I-35 in Edmond and Luther is not on the map
Hogback Rd between Jones and Luther is also not on the map.
Thanks, Regina! I'll add Hwy 66 since it's a major thoroughfare, but we just don't have room to add a lot of the other roads. That's why Choctaw, Luther, and Harrah roads are pretty tight.
I appreciate it!!
Oh my gosh!! The icon for Luther is so hard to find! I'll fix it!
On the Address side of the map, can we add the zip codes?
May we remove the Bluff Creek Canal from Lake Hefner to Lake Overholser? Also, the river in the Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge can probably go because unlike the Canadian I don't think that anyone would use either as a geographical reference. Maybe shifting the map to the right a couple columns, since Bethany/Warr Acres is the furthest West and the furthest East are cramped, would be better than going to the West end of the county.
Can you remove the 'city of Midwest City' wording from the map? It may appear to customers traveling from DC or DN that the library is very near the highway. I worry they won't look further up to the actual library location. It's the only city that has a city location and a library location listed which may be a bit confusing.
Also, as a Choctaw Clerk I often send customers East to Harrah. When they take 23rd street/Hwy 62 I tell them to drive East until the big curve that swings around to the South. Could the map show the proper road orientation? Right now it shows all grid-like roads out here. Since there is almost no way to arrive at Harrah from Choctaw without driving the big curve, it could cause some confusion.
To maximize room could we rotate the map image to landscape which would widen your side to side space availability? The website info could easily be moved to the opposite side of the paper where there is plenty of space to shrink our huge logo. Customers would appreciate more accurate and larger representation of our map!
Just a side note so you know how important and appreciated all your map work is: this summer we had a customer use the map to visit every branch as a fun summer activity! They checked each one off the list once they had visited! They has "I visited" stickers from all over the county!
