On January 26th, I celebrated my one year anniversary with a job which has brought more joy to me than any other I have ever had. Yes, I am a retired teacher and this is only a part-time job but I am so proud to be a part of this team. Angie Walton has brought a group together that is so positive and great! She is a real firecracker! Even the meetings are fun and informative. I absolutely look forward to each Come Read With Me session beginning. I love being a part of a program that is truly making a difference in the lives of Oklahoma children. I think we all want to help to make this a better world. That's just what Angie Walton and her project specialists, including me thankfully, are doing. I'm just grateful to be a part of this program.

I agree Deanna and am so glad to be a part of Come Read with Me. Angie makes training fun and I learn things to use when working with children. I like how we get to share site experiences and learn from each other also.
Ditto everything Deanna said. I love how Come Read with Me is expanding and reaching Hispanic communities; we now have two bilingual project specialists.
