Congratulations Randy, you are a true library champion. It has been a pleasure working with you over the years and I, too, appreciate your 'sharing of knowledge' with others. Your leadership is the driving force behind the success of the Southern Oaks Library and in turn the success of our system. We are lucky to have you here at MLS and I'm glad to call you my friend. Randy is a true champion and it is reflected by his always positive attitude, the family of co-workers he has built, and the fantastic things that happen at the Southern Oaks library. Every time I interact with Randy, he is smiling, kind, and a real class act. Russell said it best! Randy is a winner!
You deserve this honor and so much more! Thanks for being such a fantastic boss and all-around great person. You have always supported your staff, created a spirit of unity here at Southern Oaks and allowed us to have fun at our jobs. I love your sense of humor and kind heart. Congrats, Champ!

I am thrilled to hear you got this awesome award. It is such a privilege to work with you and the great staff at Southern Oaks. Not only are you wise and experienced, you have a giving nature. For that, I thank you. Your laugh is infectious along with your positive attitude. You have such patience with our customers and always treat them with respect and kindness. You are #1 in my books.

...to Randy for his willingness to help us here CH when we have our staff meetings. He and a staff member (usually Patty) will join us on Mondays and deal with the after school chaos -- always with a calm and positive attitude. Congrats, Randy!

Although I do not know Randy as well as many MLS staff do, anytime I have encountered Randy, either in person or on the phone, he is very personable, friendly and helpful. Thanks for all you do. You deserve the Library Champion recognition!

Randy was the first male library employee that I encountered as a young customer back in 1984, which served as an inspiration & role model for me. Randy is a good mentor, and excellent librarian. Well deserving of this award, and great example of a library champion.
