Winter ReadFest
What is Winter ReadFest?
The 10th Annual Winter ReadFest is better than ever! The program, which encourages reading of all kinds, is for library customers 18 and older. This year we have created a gameboard to help customers organize all of the great books they've read. Customers turn in their gameboard for drawing slips. Every three books completed on a gameboard qualify for a drawing slip. Don’t forget, customers can also listen to audiobooks or read eBooks from their computer or eReader! It all counts!
Quick Facts
- Winter ReadFest begins on January 14th and lasts until February 28th
- Go to your library and pick up a game sheet
- Read or listen to at least three squares from the game sheet and receive one drawing slip
- Read all nine and get three drawing slips
- Turn in game sheets by February 28th
- No duplicate titles accepted
- Prize drawings will be held March 1st
- Join at any MLS Library
Are there prizes?
Of course there are prizes! This year we are giving away Nook HDs, iPods, family memberships to several locations around the city, and restaurant gift cards.
