PlayAway Views Etc.

The Downtown Library highlighted our new Playaway Views during a recent visit by Positive Tomorrows, a local organization that reaches out to disadvantaged youth. They were impressed with the collection, and many of the items in the collection have checked out as a result. In addition, the library has offered tours to numerous schools throughout the year. During the tours, we highlight the Oklahoma Collection, the Holacaust collection, and our microfilm/fiche collection, along with the many other items available to preserve information and history. In so doing, our customers are gaining new awareness of the information available to them through their public library.
