Maintain relationships with local schools

To encourage lifelong learning, librarians will continue to promote reading and library use at local schols by visiting the six elementary schools in our service area, at least one middle school, and the nearest high school during 2014-15 fiscal year.

Cheryl Coleman visited the classes at Putnam City Academy the last week in August 2014.
On October 15, 2014, Alma Brown visited the third graders at Arbor Grove Elementary to talk about the library and how to get library cards.
On November 25, 2014, Alma Brown visited the third graders at Central Elementary to talk about the library.
On February 3 & 4, 2015, The second grade classes at Arbor Grove Elementary visited the library for a tour and a talk from Alma Brown & her puppets.
On February 6 2015, Jessica Moad & Cheryl Coleman visited the third graders at Coronado Elementary to talk about the library.
On March 3, 2015, Alma Brown visited the third graders at Rollingwood Elementary to talk about the library and issue library cards.
On March 11, 2015, Alma Brown visited the third graders at Tulakes Elementary to talk about the library and library cards.
