Encourage and assist efforts to improve existing facility

  • New coat of paint added to the inside walls of the library
  • Reference desk renovated to be more open and inviting
  • New signage displaying additional/Sunday hours added to front door
  • Antiquated shelving switched out with modern shelving, providing room for collection growth and expanding aisle space
  • Landscaping added to north side of building
  • New commercial toilet installed in unisex bathroom
  • Information table added to vestibule 
  • 2 new bike racks installed in front of the library
  • Additional cooling units added to provide relief from summer heat
  • Installation of white boards in meeting room
  • Drainage pipes replaced on north side of library to reducing flooding during heavy rains
