Detailed online calendar entries

Capitol Hill Library staff will provide detailed information when writing entries for the online calendar of events, which in turn will assist MaC in their ability to write a press release, a social media post, design fliers or ads, or write entries for the INFO magazine.

  • 2/14: Staff attend training to aid in writing descriptions for the online calendar and Info magazine entries -- BLT: Writing with the Right Ingredients
  • 3/14: Staff participate in testing the PPC (Program Planning Checklist), a prototype designed by Kellie Delaney in Planning. Program descriptions can be accessed through "The Blurb Bank"
  • 6/14: Staff train to use Sign-up, new software for our calendar of events, and explore different roles available for entering information
  • 11/14: Staff begin logging program attendance solely in Spaces, saying goodbye to mlsRoomManager
  • 4/15: Librarian Role, Publisher Role, and Manager Role filled -- all programs are now being planned using recommendations made by the PIE Committee and the Sign-up software
