During the early months of 2013 we will develop a plan for offering this community standard library programming that includes children’s Story times, 1-2-3 Play with Me, and other children programs that promote activity and reading.

Toddler Aerobics is scheduled for April 2013 for parents and their young children at the Almonte Library.
Storytimes are scheduled for April and May of 2013 for preschoolers and their caregivers to enjoy at the Almonte Library.
1-2-3 Play With Me is scheduled for May 2013 for parents to bring their young children to the Almonte Library and learn about developmental needs of their young children from professionals in our community.
Toddler Aerobics is scheduled for the remainder of 2013 for parents and thier young children at the Almonte Library, attendance is increasing each time we offer this event.
1-2-3 Play with Me is scheduled for October 2013 for parents of young children at the Almonte Library to learn about developmental needs from professionals in our community.
Two storytimes are scheduled each month during the Fall of 2013 for parents/caregivers to bring young children for a fun filled library experience at the Almonte Library.
Children Reading to Dogs is scheduled weekly through December 2013 for children at the Almonte Library.
Since we opened this library after the summer Neighborhood Arts schedule was set, we developed a weekly series of performances for the Almonte Library children to attend each Friday afternoon during June and July 2013. Almonte Library will be part of the system schedule of events for the Neighborhood Arts of 2014.
Parachute Play times are scheduled several times through the Fall of 2013 for Almonte parents/caregivers of young children.
Several craft programs are scheduled for school age children visiting the Almonte Library through December 2013.
Little AL's Book Club is schedule to begin during the Fall of 2013 for school age children to enjoy reading and participating in activities to enhance the story experience of selected books.
Mother Goose on the Loose is scheduled for the Fall of 2013 for parents/caregivers of young children to enjoy the early Mother Goose literature and encourage a love of reading and poetry.
