Customer Appreciation Month

Libraries throughout the Metropolitan Library System celebrated Customer Appreciation month this year by saying
"Thank You" to our customers in a variety of languages. The Downtown library selected the Russian language, and created a library display to represent the culture and enhance the message. Library staff contributed items from their personal collections which included Russian hats, costumes, Matryoshka (nesting) dolls, as well as posters and flags. Bookmarks were also offered to customers.
