Staff Association Hosting Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Grab your phone or camera and put your Sherlock Holmes hat on, because it's time to do some sleuthing. The first ever Staff Association Virtual Scavenger Hunt is afoot!  

Who: Any MLS staff member who wants to participate 

What: A Virtual Scavenger Hunt: Take a picture based on each of the prompts below; you may choose any combination of prompts to complete, as each photo submitted is an entry in the Grand Prize Drawing for a $20 Amazon gift card

When: Entries will be accepted until closing on Saturday, October 3, 2020 and the winner will be notified the following week

Where: Take pictures at your location, and submit them through the entry form linked below (also located on the Intranet > Staff Association page) 

Why: To encourage creativity, camaraderie, and provide a fun system-wide event for all staff without infringing on social distancing

Look for...

1. A famous person in your library (can be a poster, statue, etc. Get creative! We just need to be able to recognize who your famous person is) 
2. The Dewey Decimal Number of your favorite animal 
3. A map (could be an atlas, in a book, etc) 
4. Something that makes your location unique 
5. The craziest thing in your staff fridge 
6. A recipe 
7. A CD of your favorite music 
8. A fun outdoor feature at your location (such as a butterfly garden, painted window, architectural feature, etc) 
9. A“bookface” picture: see examples here. Basically, find a book with a face on the cover, and line it up with your own to create a fun picture. 
10. Your location’s sign/plaque/name
