Harkin's Movie Event for Staff Recognition

WOW-What fun at the movies! There were about 175 attendee's (staff members and their guests) to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at the Harkin's Bricktown theater on May 7th. A big THANK YOU to all that participated. Staff Association was so happy to see everyone! You made it a huge success. SA looks forward to organizing more of these events for you. We cannot wait till our next events coming this summer.
As always, SA is looking for more large event suggestions from our MLS staff members. So, keep'em coming and watch for our next RSVP invitations.

Thank you very much for the opportunity and all the efforts you put in to make it happen. It was nice seeing a movie at the theater instead of waiting for the library to get the DVD (because I'm cheap that way)!
I just wanted to give a big thank you to staff association for putting this on. This was a fun outing! My wife and I also felt this was one of the nicest movie experiences we've had in a movie theater (since everyone was so civil and respectful to each other!). The vouchers for concession items was also a nice touch and very much appreciated. A big thank you to everyone who made this possible. I really hope we keep doing things like this in the future!
While i wasn't able to attend, due to a dedication event at the Village Library, I wanted to thank all of the folks who made this possible ... The Staff Association members who did the leg work and coordinated it all, the staff members who attended and brought their plus-ones, and of course the Friends of the Library who provided the funding. I am so pleased that everyone had a great time ... And enjoyed the movie to boot!

I hope there will be many more movie events in our future! I wasn't able to attend guardians of the galaxy because I worked that sunday, (and I hope you know how heartbroken I was!) so I hope the event was so successful you decide to do it again soon!
