2nd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest

It’s almost time for the 2nd annual all-staff Pumpkin Decorating Contest, hosted by Staff Association! 

Staff are invited to collaborate with their branch or department to decorate a pumpkin however they see fit: as a representation of their branch or department, to tell a story, or simply to have fun. Demonstrate your innovation and creativity in your decoration! Staff Association will provide a classic medium-sized orange pumpkin to any branch or department that requests one through the attached form by October 15, or staff may purchase and decorate a pumpkin of their choice – any size/color/shape/etc! You can even use multiple pumpkins to create a fabulously fall-esque scene – but everything must work together as a single entry.  

Once you’ve decorated your pumpkin, upload a picture to the entry form which will be posted on the intranet later. Staff will have a chance to vote on their favorite pumpkin in November. A variety of superlative awards will be distributed in addition to the People’s Pumpkin Choice Award, which carries with it the honor of possessing the Great Pumpkin Decorating Trophy for a year.

Staff Association is a volunteer association. We strive to support, engage, and advocate for all MLS staff. Participating in Staff Association events is not considered compensable time and therefore must be done off-the-clock, except for one monthly meeting of the Executive Council.
