Will there be Librarians in both the Alignment track and the Engagement track? My understanding was that the lateral move for Librarians was into Engagement.

At this point the professional track for MLS-degreed librarians is in Engagement. That said, we may have MLS-degreed librarians who are more interested in the Access/Library manager track. The goal is for staff to really consider where they feel they best fit, and where they feel they can make the highest level contribution to the system. One thing I want to be very clear about is that just because a staff member has an MLS does not mean they cannot go down the Access/Library manager path.
