Currently, in the smaller libraries there is some overlap of jobs. For example, here at DC the lead librarians do a lot of programming. Will the new model allow that to continue or not?

There will be cross functioning in various levels at all libraries. The intention is to ensure that regardless of a staff member's location, she will do the same job as others with the same title. That said, supervisors' primary responsibility is on supervising.
