Program Description: 
Join us for a back-to-school bash with come and go activities for children and teens! Get ready for a great school year by learning how the library can assist you with school success. We will provide information about library programs and opportunities throughout the school year. This is a community event. There will be games and activities at both the library and community center, and food trucks at the community center.

Signing people up for library cards and spreading information about our libraries, our community centers, and other public organizations resources, help "grow smarter communities, one person at a time". Teaching people about community resources, and having them engage in educational activities, helps people develop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Find, Evaluate & Use Information: Our community has access to expert library staff with up-to-date knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver library services.
Why will this program be successful?: 
There is a perceived need to have access to social service, library, community, and other resources. Also, it should be fun.

People signing up for library cards. People learning about our ongoing library resources, social service resources, parks & recreations resources and activities.
