Come to the library during Black History Month to celebrate, experience, and learn about our city’s rich African American heritage. Oklahoma City’s own, DWe Williams with Rhythmically Speaking will perform an original script titled Pride on the Eastside, Adam & Kizzie Ledbetter will take you through the rich history and complex evolution in Roots of African-American Music, and Shortt Dogg Entertainment will take you on a journey through the deep deuce jazz era in Oklahoma City, Greenwood jazz scene in Tulsa and today’s contemporary jazz era, because Oklahoma is about…”All That Jazz.”
