The Edmond Library can help you write a 50,000 word novel in just 30 days! NaNoWriMo is back and we have some inspiring workshops to get your book on the shelves. November 1 -- Kick off Write-In November 3 -- Brainstorming Session November 10 -- Researching Your Novel November 17 -- Editing and Proofreading November 24 -- Getting Published November 29 -- Wrap-Up Write-In Stay after the Tuesday workshops for quiet writing time in the meeting space. Energy will be provided in the forms of outlets for your laptops and coffee for your brain.

This program matters to our customers because I have heard requests for adult writing programs. Also, there is a North OKC NaNoWriMo club. I would like to give them a place to write during the month. Writing is an important form of literacy which promotes the free flow of information.

Find, Evaluate & Use Information: Our community has access to expert library staff with up-to-date knowledge, skills and abilities to deliver library services.
Why will this program be successful?: 
This program will be successful because the workshop will touch on information every writer needs to know and will also provide a welcoming space in which writers can focus on their creative outlets.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Success will be measured in attendance and word counts at the end of sessions.
