How & why does this program meet the goals of the MLS?:
The program encourages learning a new way to interact with your child while advocating the library as a safe and welcoming environment. Dancing is a great form of physical activity and appeals to the kids who struggle with being still for long amounts of time. It’s important to offer programs that target multiple ways of learning.
Which Strategic Plan Response/Goals does this program meet?:
Ensure a Welcoming Experience: Visitors are welcomed into an atmosphere of hospitality, exemplary service, and friendly interaction.
Why will this program be successful?:
With the recent success of our evening children’s programming, I believe this program will be a success. The event will be included in the Downtown “Movement in the Library” marketing to reach a large audience.
How will success be measured/determined?:
Success will be determined by attendance but also by parent’s reactions to the program.
