Manager Comments:
We decided to go forth with this program even though the deadline has passed for the MLS Calendar of Events. Success of this program is tied to providing hands-on experience with telescopes. In order to do that the program has to be held before daylight savings time, so that the telescopes can be used before the library closes. The librarian and other staff staff are going to actively promote in house and in the community.

Come stargaze with the Lunar Sooners at the Choctaw Library. We will have a short presentation on the night sky, followed by an interactive experience with several telescopes.
