Program Description: 
Looking for a new creative outlet? Express yourself through wrecking a journal - The point of a wrecked journal is to DESTROY it. Any way, shape or form will work. We will create creative and fun prompts for wrecking as a group and add them to your own journal. We will meet two consecutive weeks and provide materials, techniques, and books for inspiration to create a thoroughly wrecked journal.

Art Journaling is a great way for teens to be creative and build skills in art and creative writing which ties into our mission of growing smarting communities. It gives teens an outlet to deal with issues that may be in their life. The Wreck this Journal format we'll be using not only allows for art and creative writing but uses many other forms of expression as well.

Satisfy Curiosity: Visitors explore their interests using the variety of information at the library.

Our teens really enjoy arts and crafts programs and I feel I can connect with them more and build relationships with these types of programs.
