Program Description: 
A story time just for you at your neighborhood library! Introduce your little ones to the library and create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying music, rhymes, a flannel board story, and craft. A professional librarian will lead story time and share tips on reading readiness.

Story & Craft Time introduces young children to books and the use of the library. Providing such programming regularly establishes the habit of using the library.

Why will this program be successful?: 
Story & Craft Time will create an interest in listening to stories and build pre-reading skills that are needed to eventually learn to read.

Attendance of 10 or more children. Families will check out additional library materials before and after story time. Families will want to come to the next library program for their child.
