How & why does this program meet the goals of the MLS?: 
Musictime with Cristy involves young children in music activities including listening, moving to music, singing and playing instruments. It gives them social interaction with other children. It promotes the use of music in children's daily lives. The class gives them the opportunity to be led by a experienced, professional music teacher. It stimulates thinking, creativity and self-expression.

Satisfy Curiosity: Your libraries are centers that offer access to civic, cultural and community enrichment opportunities.
Why will this program be successful?: 
Music programs led by a music specialist have been brought to the library for at least the last ten years and continue year to year to attract families who have filled the programs to capacity.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Expect to have an average attendance of about twenty children and their parents or caregivers. While at the library, families will make use of resources of the library and check them out to take home.
