Making communities smarter is one of the goals of the library system. In this case, we are assisting children with their reading skills so that they can improve in school and enjoy reading books from the library.

Find, Evaluate & Use Information: Visitors are connected with library resources at every point of contact.
Why will this program be successful?: 
We are exposing children and families to books with the hope that they will become life long readers and so that they will succeed in school and in life

Success will initially be determined by attendance and feedback from parents, as well as from volunteers who will observe individual improvement in reading skills over time.

Final Comments: 
We are unsure whether to include online registration or not. We would have to register for the first program and then have automatic sign up as people are not signing up after the first one. It is many useful to pre register as it sends a reminder text to people.
