Program Description: 
Come celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with the Bethany Library. Día de los Muertos is a Latino holiday that honors and celebrates family and friends who have passed on. Join us as we decorate Sugar Skull. Sugar Skulls are a traditional Día de los Muertos decoration. Checkout our materials on Día de los Muertos after the program and take them home afterwards.

This program will help introduce cultural history to people that may not have learned or have had the opportunity to learn about Día de los Muertos. This program will help people Live Smarter by expanding their knowledge about other cultures and will also be a fun way and memorable way for the members to learn.

This program will be successful because people will learn what Día de los Muertos and sugar skulls are while decorating a sugar skulls.

This program's success will be measured by how many people attend the program and also by what they learn while in the program.

We will be able to connect our collection about Día de los Muertos  and this will be a way to bring our collection to life. We will have books about Día de los Muertos  on display before, during, and after the event for members to checkout.
