You've heard of a wine tasting, but what about a book tasting? Celebrate the new year and build your 2017 reading list during this fun and fast-paced event. You'll have a chance to sample the newest literary delicacies the library has to offer, as well as some unusual goodies you may have overlooked. (p.s. You will not be required to eat a book. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.)

"New Year - New Reads!" supports the core value of learning for enjoyment. Attendees will be exposed to our latest new books, 2017 book lists, and have the opportunity to enjoy each other's conversation over light snacks.

This program will be successful as it provides a place for library members to share their love of books with each other and hopefully bring home some interesting new reads.

Final Comments: 
I will have a large selection of new books available for attendees to browse and check out if they wish to do so. We will be talking about 2017 reading lists and where to find book reviews/recommendations. This will also be a good time to let people know about the Tailored Titles program.
