Learn how art and literature weave together as we combine poetry into the process of creating artwork. A professional artist will teach you how to paint your own version of a work of art on canvas while you sip on sparkling cider. Take home your own masterpiece to hang on your bedroom wall!

Why will this program be successful?: 
This program will be successful because it has been the past 2 times we held it and we continue to be asked when the next session will be. It will also be successful because it allows teens to be creative and pursue their love of art while also learning more about poetry during Poetry Month.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Success will be determined if we fill up the 15 spots and continue to hear positive word-of-mouth feedback from the attendees.

Final Comments: 
This program is such a blast and has been very successful the past two times we held it. We will tie in a poem and the artwork will be based upon the poem. I am undecided on the poem/theme for this program as of now. I am working with Stephanie Valencia on possible ideas.
