How & why does this program meet the goals of the MLS?:
This will be an engaging hands on opportunity for little ones to explore books at our library, and participate in extension activities. It will also serve as a good education opportunity for parents as I guide through an activity that is more process oriented than product oriented.
Which Strategic Plan Response/Goals does this program meet?:
Ensure a Welcoming Experience: Visitors are welcomed into an atmosphere of hospitality, exemplary service, and friendly interaction.
Why will this program be successful?:
We are practicing with calling this afternoon craft time- in hopes that both the change of time and the name change will bring in more folks that come for what is typically referred to as storytime. This program will have an egg/bird theme. I will use materials I put together last year for a program that had no attendees. A nest craft, and an egg craft related to other oviparous animals.
