9/10/10 Submission - Multicultural Ornaments
The students would turn a variety of three-dimensional shapes into an ornament in the spirit of their particular holiday. For example, the students will have access to maps of Africa to decorate the exterior and/or interior of an ornament. Also, students can utilize color to represent their culture on their ornaments. I always teach my classes with lots of founds objects so ornaments can be created from pre-made shapes, bottle caps, lids, small boxes, etc. Students will primarily be constructing with glue, paper and found objects. Students will leave with a very unique and individual ornament to give as a gift or decorate their home.
Classes would last 1 hour.
$100 per hour all supplies included.
25 students maximum.
Ages 6-11 (I'm flexible on the ages as long as I'm notified the range in age so I can prepare).
Also, if there are particular needs of individual libraries, they can contact me individually and we can discuss possible programs.
