Cheryl Pierson lives in the Oklahoma City, OK, area with her husband Gary, and their two children, Jessica and Casey. Pierson, co-owner of West Winds Media, holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and is a freelance journalist and author. Her work has appeared in newspapers in Oklahoma, Rocking Chair Reader: Memories from the Attic, and Rocking Chair Reader: Family Gatherings. Pierson's most recent novel, Time Plains Drifter, is pending publication in 2006, and she is currently writing stories for the West Winds Media publication The Geezer's Guide to Good Times as well as working on her fifth novel, Intersection. Cheryl Pierson (and Al Serradell) teach a variety of seminars and classes in several locations in the Oklahoma City area. Some of their classes include the very popular Writing Your Life Story, Genre Novel Writing, Writing for Children, Young Adult Novels, and coming soon, Writing Romance. In addition, a Screenplay Writing class is planned.
