“With a degree in advertising and a minor in music performance, I have an immense philanthropic interest in Oklahoma Jazz history and feel that the best way to educate people about our rich music history is through live performance. In 1989, I realized that there was a massive lack of media support for jazz artists, which created a gap between the artists and their employment opportunities. I felt that the best way to eliminate the gap was to untie area artists into an organized group and formulate a contact source that would connect artists and music students to their fans.”
