Work Description:
A presentation inside a portable planetarium of the wonders of our solar system and of our night sky, including finding and identifying constellations and their mythology.
Space or Technical Considerations:
Requires a clean carpeted area with a a 30 x 30 ft square area and 14 ft high ceiling
Background/Hobbies:
I have a B.S. and a M.S. degree in astronomy and have been teaching astronomy at Rose State College for over 3 years. For the past two summers I have hosted community outreach efforts in astronomy at UCO's Selman Living Laboratory Observatory newer Freedom, OK. This past year I supported the OK Department of Wildlife's Selman Bat Wathc by inviting participants to come use our telescopes after viewing the bat flight.
