Capital Projects

  • Capitol Hill (New Library)
    • Project Closeouts are ongoing
    • Restroom Doors are complete
  • Bethany (New Library)
    • Construction Update
      • Plumbing 99% complete
      • Mechanical 99% complete
      • Drywall 99% complete and painted with first coat.
      • Electrical is 70% complete
      • Roofing 90% complete
      • Data cabling is ongoing 90% complete
    • Anticipated Grand Opening: mid-to-late May 2019. A revised schedule will go to the Bethany City Council for approval this month. Substantial completion date is forthcoming.
  • Village (Interior Renovation)
    • Renovation in progress, Closed from January 21 – March 8
  • Del City (New Library)
    • Met with City on February 5th, Project Agreement Scheduled for Approval by City Council on February 19th, MLS will have project agreement on Commission agenda for approval on February 21st, Library Consultant selection in progress goal to complete by March 2019, and Schematic Design.  Our next meeting with the City on March 12th.
  • Belle Isle (Renovation and Addition)
    • Project Agreement and Architect Selection approved by OKC City Council on January 29th. Architect selected is ADG.
    • Scoping Meeting with City and ADG scheduled for the week of 2/11/19 postponed

Facilities Maintenance Projects

  • Downtown:
    •  HVAC BAS controls upgrade Commissioning on-going (City Funded Project). MLS internal system repairs @ 85%
    • Heating Hot Water Loop Condensate Return: Temp & Pressure Replacement Project (Hunter Mechanical) in progress. Estimated completion 02/13/2019 - OKC funded project
    • Domestic Hot Water Controller Replacement (Hunter Mechanical) in progress. Estimated completion 02/13/2019 - OKC funded project.
  • Midwest City:
    • Tankless Boiler Retrofit Project - Jackson Mechanical working punch list items. Insulation completed. Final inspections pending – Shared MLS/City Funded Project
    • HVAC Controls ES2: Installation scheduled pending contract approval – Shared MLS/City-funded project
  • Northwest:
    • North GEO Loop Filtration System – Hunter Mechanical working punch list items. OKC funded project.
  • Ralph Ellison – New carpet install delayed until sometime after March 1, 2019 – Exact date still TBD
  • Edmond:
    •  HVAC and Carpet – Project agreement approved by City in January 2019. $1.6 million budget. MLS will commit up to $650,000.  Scheduled for approval on the February 2019 Commission meeting.
    • Children’s Computer Relocation- Full Circle Millwork scheduled installation pending.
    • Glass Art – Full Circle Millwork scheduled installation pending.
