About Staff Volunteers
As an MLS Staff Volunteer, you have helped us build a reputation for caring generosity that extends beyond the walls of our libraries. Indeed, our legacy has become one of extraordinary commitment to our fellow Oklahomans - thanks to MLS staffers like you.
This year, we have again tried to provide a variety of volunteer opportunities so as many MLS staffers as possible can participate. With this in mind, we continue to have projects that can be done on your lunch hour while keeping opportunities for people who simply want to make a donation to a good cause. We will also be participating in a team fundraising walk for those who like to get together as a group.
In upcoming announcements you will find the dates for our various service projects for the year. Please feel free to jot them down on your personal calendar but also know the Volunteer Services Office will provide details for each event as it arises. Staff Association representatives are also available at each location to answer questions. And remember, your family and friends are welcome to join you in any of our volunteer efforts.
And don’t forget, when you participate you will receive an MLS Staff Volunteer T-shirt to wear on casual Fridays!
