"I have been in community and economic development for more than 12 years." Bio: presently serves as the Director of Economic Development for the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce. He is a Certified Economic Developer, an Alumnus of Southwestern college of Winfield, Kansas, Southern Nazarene University, and a Graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. He is a member of the Rose state College Small Business Endowment Committee, the Metropolitan Area Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Central Oklahoma Workforce Development Board, the Midwest City Comprehensive Plan Advisory committee, and the Governor’s Economic Development team. Dave is a member of the International Economic Development Council and the Oklahoma Professional Economic Developers Council. Prior to his work in Midwest City, Dave was the Executive Director of the twelve-county South east Kansas Regional Planning commission. He served as the Facilitator and Editor of the region’s nationally acclaimed “Southeast Kansas Economic Development Strategy” Dave is also an Ordained Minister. He and his wife Kathie reside in Midwest City.
