Ways to Help Us Reach Our United Way Goal
- Print off the United Way campaign poster and hang in your break room or staff area.
- Print off the Goal Thermometer and follow our progress and color in the thermometer as we reach our goal.
- Show the United Way campaign video in staff meeting(s).
- Invite someone from the United Way Planning Committee (Kim Terry, Kellie Delaney, or Anthony Herron) to a staff meeting.
- Create your own incentive to increase participation at your library or department.

- Use the Top 10 Reasons to Participate in the United Way as discussion starters.
- Use the What your Dollar Buys poster for quick comparison of what a donation can provide in our community.
- Use the pocket guide to the United Way partner agencies to highlight a new partner agency everyday during the campaign.
- Follow up with staff at your location on the United Way correspondence sent at a systemwide level.
- Share links from our United Way landing page on the Intranet.
- Write thank you notes to staff who participate in the United Way campaign from your location.
- Have fun! Decorate your break room or staff area, bring individually wrapped desserts or treats, create a countdown calendar of the days left in the campaign. The possibilities are endless.
