- Challenge staff to add an eBook/eAudiobook tie-in at various levels of member interaction and keep a tally of the number of individuals told about our digital collection.
- Challenge staff to inform five (5) people everyday in and outside of work about our digital collection
- Appoint an eBook/eAudiobook Champion/Guru/Czar
- Create a special distinction for a staff member who goes above and beyond promoting and assisting members with our digital collection
- Create physical displays of your staff's favorite books
- Include book cover printout(s) of eBooks available through OverDrive (sample)
- Create flyers using LibraryAware listing all of your staff's favorite books as a giveaway to members as they visit the display.
- Storytime on an iPad
- Switch a print book for a book available through OverDrive for one or two storytimes
- Share healthy screentime tips for parents segue to include information on our digital collection (Narrated eBooks, audiobooks, Children's eReading Room)
- Host an eBook/eAudiobook Exploration Event
- Use the promotional materials provided by OverDrive and Marketing to display throughout the library
- Have the Getting Started Guides printed and ready to give out
- Motivate staff to update their OverDrive knowledge and skills
- Encourage staff to wear their Digital Dash button(s) and write their favorite eBook/Book on the button
- Send staff pics with their favorite book, what they are currently reading or their top book pick for 2017
