I know there have been changes this year in how we do the Read it Forward badges. It is stated that a book will be "automatically donated."
Does this mean that at the end of the summer, a total will be tallied of badges earned, and that number of books will be pulled and donated at the end?
Or does that mean that as a customer earns a badge, books are placed in the Read it Forward boxes one by one?
I am not seeing a way to track when a RIF book has been awarded for a specific account.
Am I missing something?
Yes, we'll tally how many members have logged at least 30 hours in Beanstack for Summer Reading 2017 and donate that amount. We'll also add in all the books designated as Read it Forward from the libraries-- these will mostly be ones members have read forward instead of receiving their 10 and 20 hour book prizes. If a member comes in and wants to pick out the book being read forward for their 30 hour mark, they can absolutely do that, too! Those books are just double-counted.
When a member does Read it Forward or Pay it Forward they can mark it on the Giving Back 2017 learning track to earn that badge.
