Program Description: 
Everything Goes Dance will bring to dance groups to dance in Metro Libraries during Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept 15, Oct 15, 2017. These dancers will be from Everything Goes students and Capitol Hill High School dancers, all taught by Dance Instructor, Erika Reyes. And for Mariachi:Learn about the context and history of mariachi music and how it became one of the most universally identified forms of folk music throughout the world.  Come to the library and enjoy an engaging performance for people of all ages and backgrounds, and prepare to be enamored by "Oklahoma's Mariachi."

Members will have the opportunity to Live Smarter by attending a performance from their own culture or learn about a new culture with Flamenco or Mexican Folkloric dance, learn to dance the Argentine Tango, see a Mariachi band performance, learn a new art form, and enjoy stories, learning about their own culture or new culture of others.

It is a celebration of a large portion of our library communities' culture of dance and family heritage.
