Embrace your inner artist with this hands-on art class for kids. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art will help you create collage and paper designs that tie in to the Henri Matisse exhibit at the museum this summer.

Art programs are generally well attended. By partnering with the Oklahoma City Museum of Art we are able to increase interest and knowledge of a specific artist/style while also promoting an exhibit taking place in our community.

Satisfy Curiosity: Visitors explore their interests using the variety of information at the library.
Why will this program be successful?: 
Library members will be able to explore art through a hands-on activity that highlights the techniques made popular by Henri Matisse. Book displays and information about the Matisse exhibit at the OKCMOA will be available to enhance the participants' experience.
How will success be measured/determined?: 
Success will be measured by attendance at the program and circulation of displayed materials promoting the program.
