Customers regularly ask for assistance downloading to E-media devices, from trained library staff. This program creates a group learning environment, while offering for individual instruction, as well. Library users will have the chance to ask questions and receive encouragement and validation in a friendly atmosphere.
Why will this program be successful?:
Library users will not only leave with materials downloaded to their devices, but also with the knowledge and understanding to download future titles themselves.
How will success be measured/determined?:
I would like to hand out a survey in addition to asking for verbal feedback. The goal will be for each participant to leave with at least one item downloaded on their device and encouragement to ask library staff for assistance when needed.
