Tim Rogers announced as new Executive Director

At a special meeting Thursday, Oct. 9, the Metropolitan Library Commission voted to hire Tim Rogers as the new Executive Director. Rogers is currently the executive director of NC Live, a provider of digital content and service for North Carolina libraries. He will replace Donna Morris who is retiring after 45 years.

Rogers will have an annual salary of $150,000, with benefits consistent with those provided to regular full-time employees of the Metropolitan Library System. He will also receive a $650 car allowance and a relocation allowance of up to $10,000. He will start his new position on January 15, 2015.
