As the quarantine (caused by a flu outbreak) in the mall continues, people are shocked when the power goes out. Everyone is left in darkness. All law and order within the mall collapse, and control goes into the hands of gangs formed by teens during the madness. The story follows several teens who each have their own objectives. One teen finds evidence from a dead doctor that the quarantine is no longer necessary. Eventually, the quarantine ends and the remaining survivors are let out back into society, no one is quite the same nor will they ever be the same again.
