Genticorum "Traditional Music & Songs from Quebec"

The Our World tour for this November was Genticorum "Traditional Music & Songs from Quebec". Genticorum was at 10 libraries. These three young men are keeping the traditions of their country through music and song. Our customers were delighted to learn about the music and culture of Quebec through a live performance. One customer left a phone message saying that “I cannot stop playing the CD I bought at the concert. They are a pure delight and I hope to see them again tonight and their finale performance on Friday. I just wanted to let you know... I had a really bad couple of months...it was so sad and this was the first hour of happiness I’d felt in some time." This is an instant where libraries do change lives. We can change the way people feel without even knowing it unless they tell us.
