Calling all Fiction readers!

Do you read Fiction? Can you write 200 words (seriously, that's maybe 3-4 paragraphs with only about two sentences each). Well, WE WANT YOU! We want reviews for FICTION books to possibly put in upcoming issues of info magazine.

We try to stockpile our reviews and spread them throughout the year (we do have a mad scientist type plan to what reviews we publish). Reviews must be in system, and we must own many copies of the book to accomodate the surge in reserves that your review will generate. :)

If you choose to accept this challenge, let Doug Bentin (Chief Book Reviewer Guy) know. He can walk you through what might be publication worthy and give you some tips. You can also look through some of the current book reviews in the magazine and see how our other pros do it!

We currently have some great staff reviewers who write about some wonderful nonfiction books, and we would love to add to our awesomeness with new staff reviewers who can't live without fiction books! And you YA readers? Come join the party!! We need you, too. We share the love.

YA librarians!

Kim, I encouraged the YA librarians at their recent retreat to write up some of their book talks as reviews for Info. They had some great YA books to recommend!

Yay!!

-- and I'll like that too, because my book list is dwindling down down down (i love YA books!...just make sure it's not "Beautiful Creatures" because that book just killed me...I didn't know if I wanted to burn it or burn myself for wasting my time reading it....)

All Is/Are Welcome

Just a reminder that we also want reviews of Adult Fiction, not just the YA variety. Genre fiction, literary fiction, best selling fiction, obscure fiction, translated fiction, short fiction or three-volume novels, all are grist for the info mill, so send me a note and we'll get started.
