Security

Security Manager is available for emergency by calling 627-2695.  In the event a life threatening situation where there is imminent potential for harm to staff, customers, or library property, CALL 911.  All employees have the authority to call 911 if an emergency occurs. 

For medical emergencies, caller is to stay with the victim while talking to 911.  If security is on site, have someone notify security that 911 has been called so that they can direct help when it arrives.  Other employees are to assist by keeping the area free of bystanders and provide privacy to the victim as much as possible.  Do not offer a drink unless told to do so by 911 operator.  For further instructions see Administrative Directives on the intranet dealing with medical emergencies.  Medical Emergency
