Searching

There are two types of searches in MyMetrolibrary – the first type is a content search. This search is what is performed when you use the search box at the top right hand corner of the site. A content search simply searches through all the content on the site with very few filters. Using the advanced functions of the content search, you can filter by content type on the site such as meeting minutes or policies and procedures, but that is it.

If you want to filter the information down even more, you can use the second type of search, SASi (pronounced sassy). This stands for Super Advanced Search Interface and allows you to filter your search down to the exact information you want. You can filter by year, content type, committee and even location. This is also the search that can be used to search through documents such as Commission Packets.
