YA Services Minutes - November 17, 2021
Central Oklahoma Workforce Innovation Board https://cowib.org/
Guest Speaker: Denise Hyche, Youth Coordinator/Outreach Specialist
A representative from COWIB discussed their job seeker services and free workforce development programs for teens, and how they can support the communities we serve. Their youth/young adult program is for people ages 16-24 who are out of school. They must meet an eligibility barrier (low income, dropout, parent, etc.) to receive services/benefits. More information and handouts are available in the All Engagement Staff SharePoint > Community Organizations > COWIB.
